Our Correction Policy
JapanWiseLife.com is committed to accuracy across all editorial content. When errors are identified — whether by readers, staff, or automated monitoring — we correct them promptly and document the change. We distinguish between factual corrections, updates to reflect changing information (such as fees or entry requirements), and editorial improvements.
- Factual corrections — errors of fact are corrected and noted with a correction notice on the affected page
- Information updates — prices, rules, and policies change regularly in Japan. We mark time-sensitive information with a Last Checked date and update it when it changes
- Editorial improvements — restructuring, clarity edits, and additions that do not change the factual content are not annotated as corrections
